Electronic invoicing becomes mandatory from 2026. Theoasso handles it for you.

From 1 September 2026, certain associations must use an approved platform to receive invoices, and from 1 September 2027 to issue them.

The reform is progressing.

Electronic invoicing rules are being introduced gradually. Here are the main stages to help you prepare.

  1. 1 January 2020

Chorus Pro comes into service for public procurement: a first step towards fully digital invoicing.

  2. 1 September 2026

Large organisations and intermediate-sized businesses must use an approved platform.

  3. 1 September 2027

The requirement extends to all associations subject to VAT.
