Born from the acquisition of Caleb Gestion in 2025

Since 1993, alongside my work as a mathematics teacher, I have enjoyed building Caleb Gestion with one constant purpose: helping religious and cultural associations with their everyday administration. Over the years, thanks to the trust of more than 3,200 associations, it has become a reference in this field.

But the technologies it was built on were reaching their limits, with a real risk of becoming obsolete in the near future. I felt it was essential to open a new chapter while ensuring continuity of service.

I chose Stéphane Hamelin: his experience with management software, knowledge of the nonprofit world and clear vision for Theoasso convinced me that he was the right person to take over.

When I see the work completed since the start of the year, I am convinced I made the right choice.

I will remain involved until the end of 2027 to support this transition.

When Alain and I began discussing the future of Caleb Gestion, our shared goal was both to protect the existing user base, which includes many churches, and to pursue a broader ambition serving all associations working for the common good.

At a time when funding is harder to obtain and signs of crisis are multiplying in a rapidly changing world, we are more convinced than ever of the nonprofit sector’s essential role. Theoasso aims to support that sector by giving treasurers and leaders of associations of every size the rigour and visibility they need to carry out their mission.

The Theoasso team and I are happy to work towards this every day, building the tool that brings your finances and accounting together.
